Cassidy Janson
Cassidy Janson, born on 30th July 1980, is a British singer from Barnet, North London. Apart from being a singer, she is also a producer and is best known for her work in musical theatre.
She made her appearance in “tick, tick… Boom!” in 2005 at the Menier Chocolate Factory. A year later, she became part of the ensemble for the original West End cast of Wicked. Janson has also worked in various Off-West End shows such as Rooms: A Romance and Company. In 2013, she played Paquette in Candide, following which she was seen at the Trafalgar Studios as Ruth in Dessa Rose. In 2015, she joined the West End production cast of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical as Carole King. Three years later, Janson joined Michael Ball, Tim Howard and Alexandra Burke at the London Coliseum in a revival of Chess.

(London Revival, 2005); Wicked (Original London Production, 2006); Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (West End); Chess (London Coliseum Revival Production, 2018); Man of La Mancha (Concert Production at London Coliseum, 2019) and & Juliet (Original West End Production, 2019).
She has also appeared in Blood Wedding (Courtyard Theatre); Dessa Rose (Trafalgar Studios); Rooms: A Rock Romance at the Finborough; Avenue Q (Wyndhams Theatre); Lend Me a Tenor (Gielgud Theatre) and Company (Southwark Playhouse).

Her credits on film include Full Circle and Coma, Day Trip to London, Tail’s End and The Hike.
Music:
Janson joined Amber Riley and Beverly knight in 2017 to start the musical theatre supergroup Leading Ladies. They launched their debut album on 17th November 2017 entitled “Songs from the Stage”, which features song covers from Rent, Beautiful and Cats among others.
