Our train takes us north to the Lake District in a little over 3 hours.
On arrival you will be met at Oxenholme station by your tour guide/driver. Our tour of the Lake District includes a cruise on one of the Lakes, Visit the medieval village of Hawkshead, with its quaint alley ways, 12th century church, we visit Hill Top*, the home Beatrix Potter, here she wrote several of her famous stories. You will also experience one of the Lake District's most picturesque beauty spots, Tarn Hows.
A scenic drive through the Langdales valley in the heart of the lake District to Grasmere, an ancient and popular village, stone built and blending softly into its mountain background. Returning through the bustling village of Bowness and back to Oxenholme station in time for our train back to London.
We arrive back at Euston Station approx 8:30pm.
