About The Pajama Game
After a wildly succesful run at the Chichester Festival Theatre, The Pajama Game will transfer to the Shaftesbury Theatre for a strictly limited run from 1st May with two-time Olivier winner Joanna Riding and Olivier nominee Michael Xavier.The show is directed by five-time Olivier winner Sir Richard Eyre.
Peter Polycarpou and Colin Stinton will reprise their roles as Vernon Hines and Hasler, with Gary Wilmot taking over the role of Vernon Hines from 2nd June
Romance is blossoming at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory as handsome new Superintendent Sid Sorokin falls head-over-heels for feisty Union rep, Babe Williams. But when the employees are refused a seven-and-a-half cents an hour raise, the pair find themselves riotously at odds in this joyous musical comedy. Will love, eventually, conquer all?
The Pajama Game features the classic songs including: Hey There, Once-A-Year Day, Hernandoʼs Hideaway, There Once Was A Man and Steam Heat.

Joanna Riding is currently starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Stephen Ward in the West End. Her other credits include Carousel, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, A Little Night Music and Oh! What A Lovely War. She will next be seen in the Into the Woods film. Micheal Xavier’s credits include Love Story, Into The Woods, My Fair Lady, The Phantom of The Opera, and The Sound of Music.
