In 1790 Mozart and Lorenzo Da Ponte broke tradition by writing an opera based not on theatre or literature. Cosi fan tutte is based on a rumored tale of love, jealousy, human weakness and forgiveness.

Don Alfonso tells his young friends that, like all women, their fiancées can’t be faithful. In an attempt to test the lovely ladies’ fidelity, the gentlemen pretend to be shipped off to war, then return in disguise. The women fall in love - but not with the right partners!

This charming production brings the world of the passionate young lovers to life.
