Umoja

Umoja - The Spirit Of Togetherness - back in London after a highly popular run at the Shaftesbury earlier this year.
In this musical celebration of South Africa, a cast of 36 performers sing, dance and play around the themes of village life as seen through the eyes of the narrator Hope Ndaba. Umoja, which began its internationally acclaimed existence at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg in the summer of 2001, mixes traditional, tribal, gospel, and contemporary rhythms and sounds.
