The Olivier Award-winning company brings new life to the great folk plays of medieval Europe, re-imagining them in the languages of South Africa, through a vibrant spectacle of song, dance and music.
From the Creation to the Resurrection, these stories are some of the most universally recognised in the world. Pauline Malefane and an ensemble of 33 performers plays Biblical characters from Adam and Eve to Pontius Pilate and Mary Magdalene.
Performed in English, Xhosa, Afrikaans, Tswana and Zulu, this exuberant, uplifting and passionate production will be a joyous and moving experience for all.
