“THE FUNNIEST SHOW IN TOWN”
- Sky News

In a Downtown New York neighbourhood, a bright eyed college graduate called Princeton is looking for a new place to live. With a tiny bank balance, he is about to come face to face with the reality of life on AVENUE Q, however a variety of weird and wonderful new friends help lead Princeton on a hilarious journey of self-discovery. This is the must-see hit show of the year and a guaranteed laugh-out-loud night out.

AVENUE Q is the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He soon discovers that the only neighborhood in his price range is Avenue Q; still, the neighbors seem nice. There's Brian the out-of-work comedian and his therapist fianceé Christmas Eve; Nicky the good-hearted slacker and his roommate Rod -- a Republican investment banker who seems to have some sort of secret; an Internet addict called Trekkie Monster; and a very cute kindergarten teaching assistant named Kate. And would you believe the building's superintendent is Gary Coleman?!? (Yes, that Gary Coleman.) Together, Princeton and his newfound friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

The residents of Avenue Q have finally grown up as they enter their fifth year and join the big league of West End musicals! Well, as grown up as a bunch of hapless, politically incorrect misfits who haven’t quite found their purpose in life can be. Still London’s funniest show by far, the Tony Award-winning Avenue Q is the mischievous, badly behaved but irresistibly charming musical about the lovably hopeless characters on a downtown New York street trying to make sense of life’s burning issues: love, work, relationships and, above all, just how are you supposed to pay the bills with a BA in English?

Hilarious and uproariously entertaining, with a terrific batch of songs performed by a cast of hugely talented performers and puppets, Avenue Q is the musical like no other that will have you in stitches for days afterwards. So  don’t let your life suck – book your tickets today!
