Derren Brown to bring Infamous show to the Palace Theatre

The multi-award winning acknowledged master of psychological illusion returns to the West End stage with his new one-man show DERREN BROWN: INFAMOUS.

Following a sell-out 81-date national tour, the dark manipulator brings his unique brand of magic and mind control to the Palace Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, from June 24 to August 17.

INFAMOUS, a more ‘personal’ show, sees Derren re-united with his close collaborator and friend actor, writer Andy Nyman. He says:

“We abandoned the template that had won us a couple of Oliviers over the years for a very different feel. It's important to us that the shows feel like something you can't find anywhere else in theatre or entertainment: not even my own previous efforts. I'm really excited by the result. The show is a secret so I'm not giving away what's in it, but it's a psychological roller-coaster based around audience participation. And it's got a real heart to it. The response on tour has been incredible, it's all such a treat."

Press night is Thurs 27 June, 7pm.

INFAMOUS is Derren’s 6th show since 2003 and sees him return to the Palace Theatre, nine years after his debut West End show, ‘Derren Brown Live’, in 2004. Since then he has toured every year and been watched by an estimated audience of over one million people. He has won two prestigious Olivier Awards, for SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES (2006) and SVENGALI (2012), and confesses that touring is still his favourite thing to do.

INFAMOUS is produced by Michael Vine, Andrew O'Connor & Corrie McGuire for Objective Talent Management. Directed by Andy Nyman, written by Derren Brown & Andy Nyman. Set Design by Simon Higlett, Lighting Design by Tim Cascall, Sound Design by Colin Pink. Video Design by Duncan MacLean
