David Suchet To Play Lady Bracknell in Wilde Masterpiece

Importance of Being Earnest, The Tuesday 15 April 2014

David Suchet, the seven-time Olivier Award nominee is set to return to the London stage for the first time since his acclaimed performance in 2012’s Olivier Award-winning revival of Long Day’s Journey Into Night. He will star as Lady Bracknell in a new production of Oscar Wilde's much loved masterpiece The Importance Of Being Earnest when it opens in the West End next summer.

The West End's Olivier-nominated production of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has created a full, 3D replica of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory made entirely out of biscuits. The chocolatey chocolate factory was created in honor of Roald Dahl's book upon which the musical was based and stands in the display window of Waterstones flagship shop in Piccadilly.

Martin Freeman To Play Richard III

 Martin Freeman (Sherlock, The Hobbit Trilogy, The Office) will play Richard III, in the first production of Jamie Lloyd’s second season for Trafalgar Transformed, at Trafalgar Studios. Running from the 1 July to 27 September 2014, Shakespeare’s Richard III follows Jamie Lloyd’s critically acclaimed first season for Trafalgar Transformed, which launched with Macbeth starring James McAvoy, The Hothouse, starring John Simm and Simon Russell Beale and The Pride, starring Hayley Atwell and Mathew Horne.
