Named after John Brown, officially the Queen's "ghillie" who quickly became her confidante. Their close relationship initially caused much gossip. The scandal faded in time as people became accustomed to JB's constant presence and he remained the Queens confidante for almost 20 years. JB's Restaurant sits under the spacious Victoria Park Plaza Hotel.
