We Happy Few

We Happy Few, the first play by the celebrated actress Imogen Stubbs, is based on a true story of seven extraordinary women who toured Britain during World War II taking theatre to people throughout the country. Trevor Nunn directs an illustrious company including Juliet Stevenson, who is returning to the West End stage after a nine-year absence to play the leader of the acting company. Also in the cast are Patsy Palmer, Kate O’Mara, Marcia Warren and Caroline Blakiston. With designs by John Napier and lighting by David Hersey, this promises to be the theatrical event of the season.
