Following a hugely successful run at the Young Vic Theatre, the Ambassadors Theatre Group and Maidstone Productions are proud to present the West End transfer of Romeo and Juliet, performed by Artbox/Vesturport, a dynamic group of actors based in Iceland.
Inspired by the world of circus performance, this production explores the devotion of the two young lovers using stunning aerial and acrobatic choreography. Performed in both Icelandic and English, this is a high octane, passionate and dangerous, part-romantic, part-clowning version of Shakespeare’s classic tale.
