Relaxing amidst the sunshine of a seaside holiday, the enlightened Mrs Landfrey Clandon and her three unconventional children celebrate their return to England after eighteen years.

However, a chance encounter with their traditionalist father quickly entangles them in a series of wonderfully comic events, played out over the course of a luncheon and fancy dress party. George Bernard Shaw’s engaging play and celebrated wit, explores the battle of the sexes, the generation gap and the absurdities of marriage. You Never Can Tell brims with laughter, wit and romance and features a host of unforgettable characters including an impoverished dentist, an eminent QC and a seemingly all-knowing waiter.
