Edward Hall's production of Shakespeare's Macbeth stars Sean Bean in his first stage role in twelve years.

Regarded by many to be Shakespeare's greatest tragedy, the play has the same resonance for today's audience as when it was first performed. Macbeth reminds us that the aphrodisiac of power is as potent today as it has ever been. His vaulting ambition engages him to ignore his conscience until he discovers too late that like most human beings, panic sleeps in the unlighted corner of his soul.
