Ronan Keating took over the role of ‘Guy’ in its final months, an Irish busker who falls for a beautiful Czech girl, in a story of love and missed opportunity told through the infectious songs they write.

Review: Katie Brayben Is A Phenomenal New Talent In Beautiful http://www.londontheatredirect.com/news/1611/Review--Katie-Brayben-Is-A-Phenomenal-New-Talent-In-Beautiful.aspx

Having been extremely successful on Broadway, Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of Carole King's remarkable rise to stardom. From being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann. It would be far, far quicker to explain what’s not great about it… but a review that just says ‘nothing’ wouldn’t make for very interesting reading. So let’s give this a go!

REVIEW: 13 Times And Miss Saigon Isn't Unlucky For Anyone http://www.londontheatredirect.com/news/1606/REVIEW--13-Times-And-Miss-Saigon-Isn-t-Unlucky-For-Anyone.aspx

Regular readers of mine will know that I have a minor obsession with a few musicals. Ok, a major obsession. Miss Saigon is one of them. I've seen the show twelve times and know all of the words from both the original production and the new one. I was even one of the lucky few to get tickets for the 25th Anniversary Gala back in September which saw the fabulous original Kim, Lea Salonga and other members of the 80's cast join the wonderful new ensemble for a celebration of all things Saigon.
