Muybridge.
Twice Through The Heart
The evening also features a new staging of Turnage’s emotional chamber opera Twice Through The Heart (1997), written for mezzo-soprano and 16 instrumentalists. Wayne McGregor will direct Sarah Connolly in the role of a woman who is jailed for killing her abusive husband.
