Pressure tickets are now available for the limited West End run at the Ambassadors Theatre

Opening on the 74th anniversary of the D-Day Landings, Pressure comes to the Ambassadors Theatre for a strictly limited season from 6 June to 1 September 2018. Pressure was lauded by critics at Chichester Festival Theatre, had a successful national tour and went on to a sold-out run at Park Theatre and is now transferring to London’s West End.

The Allied forces are poised to strike and more than a quarter million lives are at stake, if and when they attack rests on the shoulders of the most unlikely, a meteorologist. This is certainly the most important weather forecast of all time. Based on an incredible true story David Haig’s new World War Two drama, Pressure, follows two allied meteorologists as they work to predict the weather ahead of the Normandy Landings.

In the headquarters of the Allied Expeditionary Force Operation Overlord is looming and over the course of three days it is up to Group Captain James Stagg to advise General Eisenhower on the weather and if the D-Day plans need to be changed.

Oliver Award winning actor and writer of the play David Haig reprises his role as group Captain James Stagg. He is joined by Malcolm Sinclair as General Eisenhower and Laura Rogers as Kay Summersby. Pressure is directed by John Dove, with design by Colin Richmond, lighting by Tim Mitchell, sound by Philip Pinsky, video by Andrzej Goulding and casting by Lisa Makin.

Do not miss your chance to see Oliver Award winning actor David Haig star in this thunderous new WWII drama which he penned.
