Shackleton and his Stowaway

This new play by Stolen Elephant Theatre is inspired by the incredible true-life events of the ill-fated Endurance expedition to Antarctica. Though the expedition itself would fail its memory would live on as an unbelievable story of survival. This production follows the unfortunate experiences of an 18-year-old stowaway who, determined to join the expedition sneaks on board the Endurance. While the uninvited young adventurer is initially enamoured of Shackleton by the time the explorer has got the crew trapped in the polar ice pack, his hero-worship has begun to fade.

When the ship is eventually broken to pieces and sinks, the entire expedition are left stranded on the ice, hundreds of miles from any type of settlement. What will become of Shackleton and his stowaway?
