What is Tosca about?

Set in a concert hall in an unnamed European state torn apart by civil war, opera singer Floria Tosca arranges a secret meeting with her lover, painter Mario Cavaradossi. But when the ruthless police chief Scarpia intervenes, music gives way to terror. Over one harrowing night, Tosca must fight for her love, her dignity and her life.
