We move in opposite orbits. In the middle, we come together. We kiss.

Ella is a Northern Yorkshire lass. Haseeb is from London. They have a meal, pizza. A glass of the house wine for Ella, Haseeb just has hot chocolate. They are falling in love.

Two people, two places, two cultures. Christmas and Eid, Leeds and London, Travelcards and Megabuses. But love isn’t as simple as two people coming together, especially not when no one is talking about the elephant in the room.

I Wanna Be Yours is a touching and humorous play about finding love and not letting go of it. This poetic debut play by Zia Ahmed is fully BSL integrated.
