Following on from critically acclaimed appearances in both Lyon and New York, Natalia Osipova brings her phenomenal Pure Dance back to London's Sadler's Wells.

Presenting a hand-picked programme, the Royal Ballet principal is set to perform a selection of contemporary and classical works that include The Leaves are Fading by Antony Tudor and the newly extended Six Years Later by Roy Assaf, Joining Natalia Osipova on the West End stage will be American Ballet Theatre principal David Hallberg, who is poised to present a specially commissioned solo devised by Kim Brandstrup.

It has also been announced that this unique programme will also include a new duet choreographed and danced by Jason Kittelberger with Osipova. The new duet entitled Left Behind is heavily influenced by its Rachmaninov soundtrack and plays with the idea that the impact an individual has had on another's life can not be fully realised until that person is gone.

The programme includes an original solo for Osipova created by Yuka OishiAve Maria, following Oishi’s win of the Rolf Mares Prize for Outstanding Creation of the Year alongside Orkan Dann in 2012. Special guest, American Ballet Theatre Principal David Hallberg, performs a specially-commissioned solo In Absentia, choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Kim Brandstrup.

In addition to performing a pas de deux from Antony Tudor’s The Leaves Are Fading, one of the last works by the British choreographer, Osipova and Hallberg will also perform the duet Valse Triste, which is a new commission by Alexei Ratmansky who is an artist in residence at the American Ballet School.

The company is completed by Jonathan Goddard who joins Natalia Osipova in Flutter. This piece was choreographed Iván Pérez, who won the Rose D'Or and Golden Prague for BalletBoyz’ Young Men and is set to music by Nico Muhly.

This highly anticipated encore of Pure Dance is only at the West End's Sadler's Wells for a limited time. Book your tickets to Pure Dance early while stocks last!
