Three legendary operas come together for an unforgettable journey of love, vengeance, tears and laughter with shortened versions of Turandot, Butterfly and Carmen in one spectacular triple bill.
TriOperas features the beautiful classics that you know and love, including Nessun Dorma, One Fine Day, Humming Chorus, Habanera and The Toreador Song, merged with punk, rap, rock, and hip-hop. This high adrenaline show is a dazzling experience, with an incredible display of acrobatics, kung-fu, puppetry, breakdancing, tap, ballet, salsa and even Chinese lion wushu and parkour.
The show features cast rotation where the roles of the eponymous heroines will alternate between nine different performers, including Keedie Green, Sara Hamilton, Sianna Bruce, Lucy Kay, Sarah Naudi, Martina Mennell, Shoreina Pereira, Chiarra Vinci and Katie Shalka.
TriOperas is backed by UNESCO and will also feature an on-site exhibition entitled Women Power World Opera. The production is, in part, a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in the United Kingdom, Women's History Month and International Women's Day on 8 March 2018.
