The West End just got hotter! This Spring, the stylish and charismatic Lee Mead (Wicked, Legally Blonde, BBC Series Winner of Any Dream Will Do), Matt Willis (Wicked, Flashdance, Footloose and BRIT award winning member of Busted) and  David Thaxton (Olivier Award winner for Passion, Les Miserables) appear in the spectacular theatrical concert The West End Men at the Vaudeville Theatre

Joining them in The West End Men are special guest star Kerry Ellis (until 15th June), Glenn Carter (until 8th June) and Stephen Rahman-Hughes (10th to 22nd June )

Kerry Ellis originated the role of Meat, in Queen's We Will Rock You and was the first British Elphaba in the West End smash, Wicked, for which Kerry won the 2008 Whatsonstage.com Award for 'Best Takeover in a Role'. She then immediately transferred to Broadway and played Elphaba at the Gershwin Theater for 6 months, where she won the Broadway.com Audience Award for Favourite Female Breakthrough Performance, before returning to London for another 6 month stint in 2009. Her many other leading role credits include Nancy in Oliver! at the London Palladium, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Ellen in Miss Saigon and Fantine in Les Miserables. 

Glenn Carter’s stage credits include Jersey Boys, Whistle Down the Wind, Hamlet, Les Misérables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, Chess, Godspell, Alfie, and Merrily We Roll Along. Glenn played the role of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in the West End and Broadway as well as the film version of the musical.  He is featured on various cast recordings, including Jesus Christ Superstar, La Cage aux Folles, Grease, and Mack and Mabel. 

Stephen Rahman Hughes stage credits include West Side Story, Drive Ride Walk, The Country Wife and Bombay Dreams. He is also an award winning choreographer, receiving the Jerwood Award for Hedo-scetic (RainRed Dance Theatre), the Peter Darrell Choreographer’s award for Stravinsky's Renard (Scottish Ballet), he choreographed the pop promo Devil’s Nightmare for Oxide and Nuetrino which was on the soundtrack for Tomb Raider and won a MOBO award for best video. Stephen also signed with critically acclaimed group Teatro, recording with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

David Thaxton recently starred in the Donmar Warehouse's Passion, for which he won the 2011 Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He previously appeared as Enjolras in the West End production of Les Misérables and was part of the 21st Anniversary Cast, performing at the special BBC Radio 2 concert. In March 2011, he joined the cast of Love Never Dies, undertaking the role of Raoul de Chagny. 

Matt Willis is best known for being one third of British pop rock band Busted, who sold over three million albums worldwide, winning two BRIT awards and record of the year in 2004. Matt's solo singles include Up All Night, Hey Kid, Don't Let It Go to Waste and a cover of the Primitives song Crash. Matt’s stage credits include Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, Flashdance the Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre and Footloose the Musical on a UK Tour. He won I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2006. 

The West End Men features songs from the West End, Broadway and beyond in breath-taking theatrical style, backed by a full live band and choir and is directed by the award-winning Mitch Sebastian (The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas).
