     An Inspector Calls, is a haunting look at the gaps in society and this production is a timely and important reminder that not much has changed since its 1912 setting, its 1945 premiere or even when it debuted as a production in 1992 at the National Theatre.

     Maxwell Caulfield has withdrawn from the London premiere of Death Takes a Holiday. Producers are citing "unforeseen circumstances" as the reason for the swift departure, scarcely a week before the show is scheduled to begin.

     Known as London’s Dance House, Sadler’s Wells has played host to innumerable companies and productions since its first incarnation in 1683 and along the way it has earned a reputation for being one of the world’s leading dance venues. The Sadler’s Wells has expanded over the years becoming a production house, receiving house and managing the program at their West End base in the Peacock Theatre. Sadler’s Wells brings dance from all over the globe to a London audience. The dance featured in their venues ranges from classic and traditional to contemporary and avant-garde.      By the time you're reading this review, I will have seen Sonia Friedman's new production of Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre four times during the six weeks that the show has been running, so it's safe to say before we even begin that I am a massive fan of this show. I've loved Dreamgirls for over a decade now since I heard Jennifer Holliday's enthralling vocals on the original Broadway cast recording and this love still hasn't died. The show not only has some fantastic source material but is so packed full of star power that it flows over the edges. To break down what is really so fantastic about this production, I thought I'd share with you the three best things about Dreamgirls:

     Tina Turner fans have been hoping for this for years, if not decades and for years it has been rumoured but on 16 December 2016 Stage Entertainment confirmed they are developing a new musical based on Tina Turner’s life. It was also announced that Tina Turner herself has joined the creative team, attending a workshop presentation of the new show in London.

     Qdos Entertainment brought pantomime back to the stage of the London Palladium this year with Cinderella. The success of the production has been undeniable, breaking the Box Office record for the highest grossing week in the West End. The run, which ends January 15, 2017, has been so successful that Qdos and the London Palladium have already announced plans to stage the pantomime Dick Whittington next Christmas season.
