Thea Sharrock is to direct Danny DeVito and Richard Griffiths as the ageing vaudevillian team Willie Clark and Al Lewis in Neil Simon’s award-wining comedy, The Sunshine Boys.  Previewing from 27 April with press night on 17 May, The Sunshine Boys is booking at the Savoy Theatre for a strictly limited run until 28 July 2012.

‘Strictly’ star takes to the stage of the London Palladium. Russell Grant is to star as The Wizard in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production of The Wizard of Oz.  He takes over the eponymous role from Michael Crawford from Tuesday 14 February for a limited 12-week season.

Danielle Hope, the winner of Andrew Lloyd Webber's show Over the Rainbow will make her final appearance as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz currently playing at the London Palladium Theatre since 1st March 2011.  It is booking until 28th October 2012.  Michael Crawford will also take his last bow on 5th February as the Wizard.

Joining Owain Arthur at the Theatre Royal Haymarket for the new production of One Man, Two Guvnors is former S Club 7 singer Hannah Spearritt and former star of Oliver, Jodie Prenger.  They will open on 2nd March.

The Queens Theatre, can be found situated on one of London’s major streets, which runs straight through Soho, the home of theatre land and the beginning of Chinatown.

Going to London Theatre shows is a must do on anyone's visit to the capital.  The West End is only rivalled by Broadway in New York as offering the most varied, vibrant and exciting pieces of theatre in the world.

Following on from How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria,  Any Dream Will Do, I'd Do Anything and Over The Rainbow, Lloyd Webber's next televised search for a star will see the composer looking for a new Jesus.  

Best known to readers of best selling and critically acclaimed novel, Resistance, Welsh writer Owen Sheers is also an award winning poet and script writer.  His new play The Two Worlds of Charlie F about being wounded during military service will be on at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 22nd January 2012 for two performances only.  

Eve Myles and Susannah Fielding will play the roles of Emma and Kim, respectively, in the U.K. premiere of play All New People starring and written by Zach Braff due to run at theDuke of York Theatre from 22nd February for a 10 week run.

Actress Caroline Quentin has started her limited run of 2 weeks only until 22nd January in the role of Berthe in the musical Pippin now showing the Menier Chocolate Factory until 25th February 2012.

The Price Edward Theatre is a famous theatre in London's West End. It is located on Old Compton Street in the city of Westminster, London, just north of Leicester Square.

The Australian movie star's recent hit US stage show Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway which grossed $14.6 million in just 10 weeks at the end of 2011 is rumoured to be making a London transfer to the West End.

A new production of the iconic comedy play by Mike Leigh, Abigail's Party will be coming to the Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre from 2nd March to 21st April, officially opening on 8th March.

Trevor Nunn’s production of James Goldman’sThe Lion in Winter will complete its run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 28 January 2012 as previously announced.  An additional matinee performance has been scheduled for Tuesday 24 January at 2.30pm.

Dianne Pilkington has been announced as starring opposite Tyne Daly in Master Class coming to the Vaudeville Theatre on 21st January until 28th April.  Press Night is on 7th February.
