The producers of The Audience today confirm that after Robert Hardy’s sad recent withdrawal through injury, the role of Winston Churchill in Peter Morgan’s new play will now be played by Edward Fox.

Wicked, the record-breaking West End musical now in its 7th smash hit year at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, has announced the opening of its 15th new booking period with tickets going on sale from next Monday for shows until Saturday 26 April 2014.

Apparently in the planning stages for over a decade, The Stage reports that a long-mooted Gloria Estefan musical based on the Latin singer and her husband Emilio's life story is now picking up speed.     It is said that the husband and wife team have paired up with Broadway production company the Nederlander Organistaion to formalise plans for the show.

Tade Biesinger from Bountiful, Utah, US will become the thirty second boy to play Billy Elliot in the West End.
