DAILY MAIL REPORTS ROBERT LINDSAY TO JOIN JOANNA LUMLEY IN THE LION IN WINTER

Further to recent reports that JOANNA LUMLEY is to appear as Eleanor of Aquitaine in Trevor Nunn's THE LION IN WINTER at Theatre Royal Haymarket, the Daily Mail has reported that ROBERT LINDSAY is in talks to play Henry II.

Robert Lindsay recently starred in a West End version of Onassis.

The  Lion in Winter was made famous in 1968 in the film version with Katharine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole. The story is based on the 12th-century queen who returns to court after being imprisoned by her husband King Henry II for ten years.
