CHICAGO THE MUSICAL is soon to end it's run at London's Cambridge Theatre to make way for Matilda. No news has been released about a transfer to another London theatre, but watch this space!

Chicago is still one of the most popular musicals in London with hundreds of theatregoers flocking almost every day with their Chicago Tickets to the West End. It is still one of the most exciting, thrilling and loved shows in London and the facts say this loud and clear.

The London production has also been host to many stars throughout the years including Tina Arena, Kelly Osbourne, Ashlee Simpson, Denise Van Outen, Brooke Sheilds, David Hasselhoff and John Barrowman to name a few. Chicago has been performed in English, Dutch, German, Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian and French and there are cast recordings of Chicago in English (US & UK), German and Dutch.

The original Broadway production opened  on June 3, 1975 at the 46th Street Theatre and ran for 936 performances. Revived again in 1996, it holds the record for the longest running musical revived in Broadway and is also the fifth longest running show. As of April 2011, it has played more than 5,900 performances.

It is a story of murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery and treachery and the reviewers had the following to say about it. "As close to musical theatre heaven as you are likely to get" The News Of The World, "This great production of a magnificent show brings the old razzle-dazzle back to the West End with a vengeance" The Daily Telegraph.

Without a doubt this is one of the west end shows not to be missed. There are a number of ways to obtain tickets for the show, you can search the internet for offers and discounts or visit the theatre.  There are many ticket booths located in Soho but always make sure you buy from companies registered with STAR.  The Society of Ticketers and Retailers.  By doing this you can be sure you are buying from legitimate sources!
