A radical retelling of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray
Following on from last year's successful set of shows at the same venue, The National Youth Theatre present another set of three shows as part of their autumn season.
Inspired by Oscar Wilde's classic tale of youth, deception and vanity, award-winning playwright Peter Morris (Age Of Consent) has crafted a new version of the story in a contemporary setting.
Conceited anti-hero Dorian is brought back to life in typically decadent style.
Plagued by self-doubt and vanity, Dorian must choose between reality and artifice in a scandalous tale unlike anoything you have ever seen before.
The other shows in the season will be Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo and Macbeth by William Shakespeare.
