Following an acclaimed run at South Hill Park and the Pleasance Islington earlier this year, Long Story Short transfers to Charing Cross Theatre for a four-week season.

Our lives are getting shorter. We live in a world of Wikipedia, Tinder chats and Twitter feeds – an information age of anything, anytime. With traditional newspapers in decline and journalists in the dock, we’re fast losing faith in the institutions we once trusted... and becoming our own reporters. Long Story Short looks art the ever-increasing speed of our digital lives and illuminates the implications of such a climate asking, “what’s next?”.

"A classy production...‘Long Story Short’ is sexy as hell – pulsating with whirling kaleidoscopic energy. With Andrew Whyment’s vivid staging drowning in visual references to ‘Enron’, it’s going to ensure this piece is a hit. This is Murdoch the Musical and golly, it’s a bracing ride." Time Out
