World Premiere of The Glass Piano, tickets available now!

Do not miss the world premiere of The Glass Piano, based on the remarkable true story of a Princess who was convinced she was living with a grand piano made of glass inside her. The Glass Piano promises to be a captivating show where the stranger than fiction truth is mixed with music and a fair bit of humour. The Glass Piano tickets are sure to leave you sated, so book them now before this limited run ends.

The life of Princess Alexandra never seems to change. She lives in the palace with her father, King Ludwig the hopeless poet, her maid Galstina and visions of her mother running across the lawn. And that grand piano made of glass that she swallowed as a girl certainly isn't going anywhere. The Princess seems set to spend the rest of her days carefully manoeuvring around the palace to avoid disturbing the delicate instrument inside her when Lucien Bonaparte arrives and all of a sudden anything seems possible.

Alix Sobler's witty play based on a true story and threaded through with dry humour will have you back in a 19th-century Bavarian palace watching four characters who seem trapped by their various situations which leave their dreams of love out of reach.
