Whether you are planning a meeting, conference, exhibition, reception or special dinner, London has some of the most exclusive and prestigious venues in the world. This could be an evening by the River Thames, a River Thames dinner cruise, a wedding reception in a beautiful garden or park, a formal dinner in an historic building or an awayday in a contemporary setting. Every year London is host to the famous Wimbledon tennis championship. This worldwide event takes place over two weeks in June and is just 15 mins south west of the city. You normally have to pre-book tickets, but you can also queue from early morning to try and obtain tickets for the event on the day. Wimbledon is very easy to get to with underground and national rail services, it is well worth going just to enjoy the strawberries and cream!
Another summer hotspot is Hyde Park. Throughout the year, the park hosts a wide variety of music concerts and festival themed days. Very popular in the summer months of course, and youngsters and families can enjoy an outdoor concert whilst having picnics and soaking up the sun!
