Rosemary Annabella Nkrumah

Rosemary Anabella Nkrumah ist eine professionelle Schauspielerin und Sängerin. Sie ist bekannt für Cemetery Junction (2010), Redemption (2013) und The Human Centipede (2009). Sie verfügt über Erfahrung im Session-Gesang, Bandauftritten, klassischem Crossover, Konzertgesang, Musical- und Straight-Theater, Film und Fernsehen.

 

Ausbildung:

Sie erwarb 2017 einen Masterabschluss in zeitgenössischer Musikperformance und Gesangsperformance am Institute of Contemporary Music Performance – UEL.

Theater:

Rosemary spielte die Rolle der Leadsängerin im Jazz-Kabarett (SM Entertainment Cyprus, 2010); Ensemble in The Church of Now (Creature Edinburgh Fringe Festival – BBC Stage, 2012); Ensemble/Solistin in Love Beyond (beauftragt Ltd The Brighton Centre, 2013); Ensemble in Love Beyond (Auftragsproduktionen, Wembley Arena, 201); 1. Sopran/Ensemble/Ersatz in Muscovado (Burnout Theatre, Clapham, Holy Trinity, 2014); Ensemble in Oliva Tweest (The Marimba Project, St James Theatre, 2015); The Dynamites in Hairspray (Bühnenproduktionen, Regents Theatre – Stoke on Trent, 2015); Sour Kangaroo in Seussical (Sell A Door Theatre Company, internationale Tournee, 2015); Leadsängerin in Back to Bacharach (UK-Tour, 2015-16); u/s Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Sonia Friedman Productions, Palace Theatre – London, 2016-19); Darlene und du/s Shug Avery in The Color Purple (Leicester Curve and Birmingham Hippodrome Co. Production, 2019). Derzeit spielt sie Nurse Norma und you/s Becky in David Ian Productions' Waitress am Adelphi Theatre.

Film:

Nicht nur auf der Bühne, sondern auch in der Filmindustrie hat Rosemary sich einen Namen gemacht. Sie trat als Tanzpartnerin des Hauptdarstellers Bruce im Spielfilm Cemetery Junction (Columbia/Sony Pictures, 2009) auf; als Nebendarstellerin in Streetdance (Vertigo Films, 2009); Amys Voiceover in The Human Centipede (Six Entertainment, 2009); als Tanzmädchen in Hummingbird (Lionsgate Films, 2012).

Weitere Erfolge:

Sie ist Ensemblemitglied bei der HRH Prince of Wales – Charity Gala Performance im The Savoy (2014) und Leadsängerin bei Bond Girls Live (2015–16).
