Er absolvierte seine Ausbildung am Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance und schloss mit einem BA Honours-Abschluss in Actor Musicianship ab.

Zu seinen Theaterauftritten zählen Jack And The Beanstalk am Key Theatre, Sunny Afternoon am Harold Pinter Theatre, The Go-Between am Apollo Theatre, The Emperor And The Nightingale am Theatre by the Lake, Forty Years On am Chichester Festival Theatre und Dr. Seuss' The Lorax am Old Vic Theatre/Royal Alexandra Theatre. Silas trat außerdem in As You Like It als Williams im Regent's Park Open Air Theatre (2018), Twelfth Night am Young Vic Main House Theatre Waterloo (2018) und The Prince Of Egypt als Aaron als Dominion Theatre auf.
