**Dame Maureen Lipman** will return to London’s West End this summer as *Allegra* completes its UK tour and transfers into a limited run at the [Harold Pinter Theatre](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/venue/harold-pinter-theatre-london).
Written by **Peter Quilter** (*End of the Rainbow*), the comedy follows Allegra — a woman whose boundless zest for life frequently spills into unexpected bursts of song, turning ordinary moments into something far more theatrical.
Following its ongoing tour across the UK, the production will run in the West End from 8 July to 8 August 2026. **Lipman** leads the company, reuniting with director and choreographer **Stephen Mear** for the new staging.
She is joined by **John Middleton, Elizabeth Bower** and **Bailey Patrick**, as the ensemble brings Quilter’s new work to London audiences for a strictly limited summer engagement.
Book your [*Allegra*](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/play/allegra-tickets) tickets with us from 22nd May.
