TANGO FIRE
Direct from Argentina, with a sizzling hot company of some of the best tango dancers in the world, including four world champions, Tango Fire returns to the Peacock Theatre with the unmissable Flames of Desire.

With live music from Quarteto Fuego this explosive company presents a passionate history of this seductive art form with such sophistication, rawness and extraordinary footwork that Flames of Desire is the closest you will get to an authentic Buenos Aires dance hall atmosphere this side of the Atlantic. Starring a celebrated international cast this stunning new play, directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran, tells the epic tale of an English maritime pilot, William Adams, washed ashore in Japan at the turn of the 17th century.

Becoming a trusted advisor to a powerful Shogun at a turbulent time in Japanese history, Adams is drawn into a power struggle in a country at war and must decide who and what he stands for, as friendship, honour, sacrifice and love are tested to the limit.
Beyond Flamenco brings the festival out of the main auditorium with performances and more throughout the building, getting you even closer to the action.
