Adrian Lester and Susannah Fielding to star in the West End transfer of Cyrano de Bergerac

Following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s hilarious and heartbreaking adaptation of *Cyrano de Bergerac* has announced its West End transfer.
Playing a strictly limited run at the [Noël Coward Theatre](https://www.londontheatredirect.com/venue/noel-coward-theatre-london), the playful and poignant production stars Stratford-upon-Avon alumni, Olivier Award-winner **Adrian Lester** (*Hustle*) and **Susannah Fielding** (*Wolf Hall*).
The production earned a heap of rave reviews, with paragraphs of praise that rival the length of Cyrano’s famous schnozz! The Stage, Financial Times and The Times all gave it 5-stars, with The Times calling Lester’s portrayal ‘perfect’ and The Stage calling Susannah Fielding’s Roxane ‘instantly charming’
Adapted and directed by **Simon Evans** (*Inside No. 9: Stage/Fright*), Cyrano de Bergerac follows a brilliant swordsman and poet whose sharp wit is matched only by his crippling self-doubt. As he secretly helps a handsome but inarticulate soldier woo the woman they both love, he watches in despair as Roxane falls for his words but another man's voice. Fiercely funny and intensely romantic, this swashbuckling tale of unspoken love, honour, and sacrifice explores the courage it takes to speak from the heart, and the cost of hiding who you truly are.
Playing at the Noël Coward Theatre from 13 June 2026 for a strictly limited run, book your official tickets to Cyrano de Bergerac from 12pm on Friday 6th February.
