Summer Hits Sadler's Wells!

 The weather is finally heating up and so are the shows at Sadler's Wells and the Peacock Theatre.

 For only a little while longer until 23 June, Wah Wah Girls is wowing audiences at the Peacock Theatre. East London meets Bollywood in this passionate and playful story. Featuring stunning dance sequences co-choreographed by Bollywood master Javed Sanadi and leading Kathak choreographer Gauri Sharma Tripathi, set to a mix of classic Bollywood tracks and new music by composer Niraj Chag,Wah! Wah! Girls is a feast for the senses that draws audiences into the world of the modern British-Asian community. 

Following on from Wah! Wah! Girls at the Peacock Theatre is Sampled for just two nights only on 29 and 30 June. The line up this year includes Paco Peña Flamenco Dance Company, English National Ballet, Jonzi D and many more. This collection of pieces is an excellent opportunity to see a vast variety of dance styles from some of the world's best dance makers. Tickets are cheap and it's only on for two nights so be sure to get your hands on tickets fast as this one is one not to miss.

Over at Sadler's Wells there is also plenty going on as well. From 12 July to 5 August Matthew Bourne's Play Without Words will hit the stage. Returning for its first revival as part of New Adventures 25th Anniversary celebration, Matthew Bourne’s Play Without Words was a critical and popular success when it was first produced by the National Theatre in 2002. It now makes its debut at Sadler’s Wells in a strictly limited four week season.
 
America's oldest professional ballet company, San Francisco  Ballet will return this year to Sadlers Wells in September with three fantastic mixed bills over two weeks performing some of their most popular works of recent years under the direction of Artistic Director & Principal Choreographer Helgi Tomasson. Each programme will be performed on three separate night so you have plenty time to see all three!
