**David Fynn** is a British-Irish actor, producer and screenwriter. He trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He also has a shared podcast with his wife called *The Baby Making Business*, where they discuss their fertility and IVF journey. ## **Where have you seen David Fynn before?**
He is known for taking on the larger than life character Dewey Finn (**Jack Black**’s character in the film version) in **Andrew Lloyd Webber**’s musical adaptation of *School of Rock* in 2016. For his memorable take on Dewey, he earnt himself an Olivier nomination for Best Actor in a Musical (2017).
He has also received award nominations for his performance as Tony Lumpkin in the National Theatre’s revival of the 1773 comedic play, *She Stoops to Conquer* (2012) directed by **Jamie Lloyd**.
Fynn has also had his fair share of television appearances including *Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Doctor Who, The Inbetweeners, Black Mirror* and *Peep Show*. And most notably, he played Alex in BBC’s *Am I Being Unreasonable?* created by **Daisy May Cooper**.
