Opera North returns with its award-winning production of Peter Grimes, which sold out here last year, and a world premiere of a fantastic musical tale by the hottest writing team in town.
Phyllida Lloyd’s extraordinary production of Peter Grimes, conducted by Music Director Richard Farnes, is back with most of the original cast, including Jeffrey Lloyd Roberts (Grimes) and Giselle Allen (Ellen Orford). Winner of the South Bank Show Opera Award 2007 and the Royal Philharmonic Society Opera Award 2007, it returns to Sadler’s Wells for two nights only.
