My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?) London Tickets

Rob Madge returns after an award-winning run at Edinburgh Festival (2021) and two sell-out West End transfers. Madge is back for more a third time with their joyous, chaotic celebration of queerness. Book your tickets to My Son’s A Queer now for this strictly limited run.

Synopsis of My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?)

Rob Madge brings their triumphant celebration of the ups and downs of raising a queer child to the Apollo Theatre this September.

Aged 12 with big dreams, Rob staged their first full-blown Disney parade, in the family living room. Multi-roling as a cast full of characters; Mary Poppins, Belle, Ariel and Micky Mouse. Dad, with his double duties of stage manager, sound technician and naturally, Goofy. And goofy he was, missing every cue and every instruction. Mum mistaking Aladdin for Ursula, and not forgetting the Ariel bubble gun misfunction. Gran loved it though.

This autobiographical retelling of social media star Rob Madge’s life sets out to restage that parade. And this time, nobody is gonna rain on their parade!
