Born on 26th September 1991, the actress Chelsea Halfpenny Stell is most famous for playing the role of Amy Wyatt in Emmerdale, the ITV soap opera. She began her professional acting career in 2004 when she appeared as an 11-year-old girl in an episode of BBC One's medical drama series, Casualty. She also played the role of Lucy Summerbee in the popular kids' TV series Byker Grove.
In 2010, Chelsea was in Andy McVicar's short film "Compulsion" where she played the female lead. The film received a nomination for the Best New Short Film award at the London Film Festival. In the same year, she appeared in Emmerdale as Amy.
Chelsea has several award nominations to her name, including "Best Newcomer" at the National Television Awards 2012, and the "Best Actress" award at the British Soap Awards 2012.
She played different roles in the 2014 West Yorkshire Playhouse production of Maxine Peake's "Beryl". She is in the West End theatre production of "9 to 5: The Musical" where she is playing the role of Judy.
