Ellie Ann Lowe

Ellie Ann Lowe is a London-based stage and screen actress who is playing the role of cover Fantine and Factory Girl in Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre. She is a mezzo-soprano and holds experience in choral singing and playing the clarinet, saxophone and piano.

 

Training:

She attended the Guildford School of Acting, London, graduating with First Class BA Honours in Musical Theatre (2011 – 2014).

Theatre:

Ellie worked as an ensemble in Sasha Regan’s Love Story at the Union Theatre (2014); swing/Connie/cover Annette in Saturday Night Fever in the UK tour/Theatre Royal, Bath (2014); Dusty Springfield/Mary O’Brien in Chris Cowey’s Dusty at the Charing Cross; ensemble in Max Reynolds’ Miracle On 34th Street at Madinat Theatre, Dubai (2015); Grandma in Red Riding Hood in the Middle East tour (Paul Taylor Mills Ltd (2015); Science Officer (Gloria) in John Plews’ Return To The Forbidden Planet at Upstairs At The Gatehouse (2018).

Her other stage credits include Anna Truman in Claire Evans’ Deadly Nightcap at the Theatre Royal, Windsor (2016); Pauline Clench in Paul Taylor Mills’ One Man, Two Guvnors at the Theatre Royal, Windsor (2016); Adriana in John Riseboro’s The Comedy of Errors in the South of France Tour/Antic Disposition at Gray’s Inn Hall (2016); Amalia in Carmen at The Union Theatre.

While at the GSA, she appeared as an instrumentalist in Fings Ain’t What They Used To Be (2012); a leading player in Pippin (2013); Diana in Next To Normal (2013); Judge/Kate in Legally Blonde (2013); lead vocalist in Rent (2013); Florence in Chess (2014).

TV:

On television, Ellie worked as a featured dancer Plain Jane, MTV UK (2010) and Pride and Prejudice: Having A Ball (2013).

Cruise:

lead vocalist for Belinda King on the Seabourn Quest Luxury Yacht, An Evening With Tim Rice (2017) and Color Magic (2019).
