Ryan Reid

Ryan Reid is a professional actor and singer based in London. His expertise in musical theatre has led him to be parts of various shows, playing in theatres and touring the nation.

 

Training:

Ryan trained at The Arts Educational Schools, London, graduating with a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre.

Theatre:

His work in theatre includes Blues In The Night and Puss In Boots at the Hackney Empire, covered and played Donkey in Shrek’s Original UK Tour, swing and walk-on Benny in Luke Sheppard’s In The Heights (2015), and ensemble and understudy Curtis Taylor Junior in Casey Nicholaw’s Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre.

While training at the ArtsEd, he played the role of Jesus/Ensemble/Dance Captain In Spelling Bee, Marshall Blackstone in Babes In Arms, and Gabriel in Kiss Of The Spiderwoman.

Concerts:

He has performed in the 2013 What’s On Stage Awards, Friday Night Is Music Night, Not Forgotten Society’s 90th Anniversary Concert, and the 2011 and 2012 Olivier Awards.

Other Credits:

Ryan was also involved in a variety of different projects throughout the decade. Some of them are Blue Peter Christmas Shows, teach advert, Use Your Head, Hope Beach Bloods music video.
