Following her critically acclaimed, award-winning performance as Nancy in Oliver! Shanay Holmes, one of the West End’s most powerful leading ladies, presents her first-ever solo concert. With orchestral covers with help from the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra from her upcoming debut album Becoming, along with the songs that have shaped her West End journey.
Shanay Holmes has had a celebrated West End career with over 15-years of experience. Renowned for originating and reimagining roles, including her critically acclaimed, award-winning performance as Nancy in Oliver!, for which she received the Black British Theatre Award for Best Female Lead Actor in a Musical.
Her performances, from the West End stage to The Olivier Awards and The Royal Variety Performance, are praised for their emotional depth, vocal power, and commanding stage presence.
Her West End debut was in 2009 with Thriller - Live. Other stage credits include The Bodyguard (Adelphi), Jesus Christ Superstar (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Rent (The Other Palace and UK tour).
