The young and naïve Manon is torn between two lives: privilege and opulence with the wealthy Monsieur GM, or innocent love with the penniless student Des Grieux. Wanting it all will be her downfall.
Aristocrats and beggars, courtesans and harlots fill the stage to take you from a gambling den in 18th Century Paris to a desolate Louisiana swamp, and share with you one of British ballet’s most dramatic stories.
Famous for its expressive choreography and acting demands, Manon features some of the most challenging roles in ballet. Let English National Ballet dancers and Philharmonic sweep you up to the haunting score by Jules Massenet.

The show was fabulous. Went with friends and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. Complicated story so should have read he summary beforehand. Theatre staff were 1st class also. Stunning theatre.

Possibly the most incredible afternoon in the theatre. I have dreamed of seeing this ballet since I was 8 years old and it passed my expectations. Truly magnificent performances by my current favourite dance company. It was outstanding.

We loved the drama and emotion in the dancing. I loved it and will definitely return to eno for another performance.
ENB is a staple of our calendar and what a better way than to be welcomed at the coliseum, the audience is diverse and so is the cast. Awesome! Exquisite.
