Return to the lives of the fictional WAGs that captivated the nation from 2002-2006 in Footballers’ Wives The Musical. About Footballers’ Wives The Musical

Footballers’ Wives The Musical follows the turbulent journey of the captain's wife, the labelled ‘super-bitch’ Tanya Turner as she desperately attempts to save her crumbling marriage and the downward spiralling career of her cheating footballer husband Jason.

Footballers’ Wives The Musical takes us back to 2002, when WAGS were more the craze than their husbands, and when Premier League Football was the new Rock ‘n’ Roll! With glitzy glamour, the best of bad behaviour and all the money to match - the (fictional) Earls Park FC wives are living their lives to the max. With mountains of designer gear, stunning palatial homes, flashy cars and handsome superstar husbands, the girls have taken the noughties by storm and have the press at the tip of their kitten heels.

Get ready for no football scenes, only ones that are adult in nature and hilariously chaotic. Expect hen and stag nights, a fairy tale wedding, a ton of deception, a touch of murder and a (potential) happy ending.

The cast and creatives of Footballers’ Wives The Musical

The title couple Tanya and Jason Turner will be played by Alice Fearn and Simon Bailey, respectively. Liam Doyle will play Kyle Pascoe, with Emma Hatton as Chardonnay Lane-Pascoe, Chelsea Halfpenny as Donna Walmsley and Ashley Samuels as Ian Walmsley. Ivano Turco plays Salvo.

The cast will be completed by Julie Legrand, Ben Richards, Frank Laslett, Nikki Davison, Soophia Foroughi, Adam Hepworth, Tom Hier, Kat Kleve, Emma Lindars, Nadim Naaman and Joe Thompson-Oubari.

Footballers’ Wives The Musical has a book by Maureen Chadwick, co-creator of the original TV series, and music & lyrics by Kath Gotts (also co-creators of Bad Girls - The Musical).
