A fiercely funny, deeply moving new musical about growing up, standing out, and finding joy in the most unexpected places.

About Kimberly Akimbo

Kimberly Levaco is about to celebrate her sweet 16. There’s just one small complication: she looks 74. Born with a rare genetic condition that causes her to age at an accelerated rate, Kim has spent her life navigating a body that doesn’t match her age, her energy, or her ambitions. When her family suddenly relocates under mysterious circumstances, she finds herself isolated just as she’s meant to be stepping into teenage life.

Everything shifts when she meets Seth at the ice rink. He’s awkward, funny, and unexpectedly kind – and for the first time, Kim begins to imagine a world beyond survival.

But life in New Jersey isn’t simple. With financially strained parents, a chaotic household, and an ex-con aunt arriving with a questionable get-rich-quick scheme, Kim is pulled into a risky plan that could change everything. What begins as desperation turns into an unlikely adventure involving friendship, first love, and one very questionable heist.
