Kiss Me, Kate is returning to the West End's London Coliseum in June 2018 only for 12 performances!

On the opening night of a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew in 1940s Baltimore, the tempestuous love lives of actor-manager Fred Graham and his leading lady (and ex-wife) Lilli Vanessi are set to collide.

Throw in Fred’s current paramour Lois Lane and her gambler boyfriend Bill – plus a couple of gun-toting gangsters who somehow get caught up in the show - and the stage is set for a funny and farcical battle of the sexes!

Cole Porter’s riotously inventive homage to the sparkling wit of Shakespeare, Kiss Me, Kate is an irresistible celebration of the joy and madness of working in theatre.

With show-stopping songs including 'Brush Up Your Shakespeare,’ 'Always True to You in my Fashion' and 'So In Love,' performed by an all-singing, all-dancing cast of international singers and West End stars, this spectacular new production is simply ‘too darn hot’ to miss out on!’

Full cast details to be announced. Conducted by James Holmes, directed by Jo Davies and choreographed by Will Tuckett.

Amazing show. Went with my 11 years old daughter and we both loved it. Highly recommended.

Alan Screen2nd July

Overall - very good and most enjoyable -- criticisms: I found some of the speech dialogue somewhat difficult to understand clearly - the spoken voice projection and enunciation was less good than the sung parts

Priscilla Heath2nd July

A good production although comparing it with the 2012 it seemed to lack liveliness and flow. Didn't help that during the first half I was dodging the head of the man in front to see the action as he kept moving all the time. Managed to move to better seats in interval. Great songs in this musical, especially Brush up Your Shakespeare.

Really enjoyed the whole theatre experience- the production, the actors, the staging and the lovely theatre itself. The bonus for both myself and my guest was being upgraded! Anita

I loved it! I know all the lyrics by heart but had never seen it staged, only the film. To see how all the songs fit the plot put it all together for me.
