About the show
Set in the swinging 1960s, The Comedy About Spies follows a rogue British agent who has stolen top-secret plans for a new weapon. When CIA and KGB operatives converge on London’s Piccadilly Hotel, the result is a spiralling web of mistaken identities, botched surveillance, and undercover operations that unravel at speed.
From the makers of theatrical chaos
The production comes from Mischief Theatre, the award-winning team behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery. Written by Henry Lewis and Henry Shields, the show continues the company’s signature blend of precision comedy and total catastrophe.
Final brief: book now
The Comedy About Spies runs at the Adelphi Theatre for a limited summer engagement only. Secure your seat before this operation vanishes without trace.
